Rushmore Consumer Credit Resource Center – CCCSBH is approved by the Executive Office of the US Trustees to provide bankruptcy counseling and education and issue certificates in South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming.*
If you are considering or will be filing for bankruptcy you will be required to complete two courses. Course one must be completed before you file for bankruptcy and course two must be completed after you file for bankruptcy but before your bankruptcy is discharged.
Course One
Counseling sessions average 90 minutes. The cost is $50 per person. Payment is by money order, cashiers check, or cash if paid in person, or debit/credit for online payments. Fees will be waived if your income is at or below 150% of the poverty guidelines as updated periodically by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Course Two
CCCS provides the education program Money In Motion. Money In Motion is available for completion online. The time required for this bankruptcy education program is two hours. The cost is $50 per person. Payment is by money order, cashiers check, or cash if paid in person, or debit/credit for online payments. Fees will be waived if your income is at or below 150% of the poverty guidelines as updated periodically by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
